Graduated from Sheridan College 2012. Grooming and Technique course graduated 2011. Alexa has been in the animal care field for 7 years and also has her own grooming business on the side. You can see Alexa in our clinic talking to clients, going through estimates, assisting the doctors with appointments, obtaining and processing diagnostic radiographs and ultrasound, providing optimum husbandry, restraint and handling, anaesthetic delivery and monitoring, prevention and control of zoonotic diseases, snuggling with patients, preparing medications, pre surgery prep and post animal recovery. On her spare time Alexa enjoys to spend time with her dogs Duke (Golden Retriever) and Queen ( Staffordshire Terrier Cross) taking them on trails and watching dogs be dogs. Alexa also has 2 cats Molson (Tabby) and Taz (Tabby)which she likes to snuggle along side when she reads cooking magazines. Alexa treats our patients as if they are her own and sees their best interests for safety and comfort. Alexa is trained in proper and humane restraints and has experienced dealing with handicapped dogs as she owns a dog in a wheelchair.
